Season One
New Episodes Every Monday and Tuesday!
Moiya and Sean are two security guards living their worst lives on the lot of Private Equity Bros, the only tv and movie studio left in the West. A satire about how generational disconnect and a crumbling economy in a country run by tyrants and buffoons makes for strange work fellows.
What Is It?
“That’s A Lot” stars Sean Crespo and Moiya McTier as an actor and scientist respectively, who have taken jobs as security guards to make miserable ends meet. Playing loose versions of themselves, Sean and Moiya’s characters mine their real life inter-generational friendship as well as their professional ambitions and failures.
Sean, a Gen Xer whose been in this job way too long, attempts to strike up a friendship with new colleague Moiya, a GenZ/Millennial cusper in her first week on the lot. But their pop-culture fueled conversations are often interrupted by absurd crises spawned from the economic dystopia of our billionaire-run autocracy. Fighting off an Elon-inspired pizzagate mob? Cleaning up after the only air traffic controller left uses his power to “see how many Sullys we got?” Hunting down all the Skaarsgards for a dynasty actor forced breeding program? Weathering Gary Oldman’s fart storms on the set of “Slow Horses”? All in a day’s work on the lot. Think of it as a little bit Kevin Smith’s “Clerks” (1994), a little bit Seth Rogen’s “The Studio” (2025), just in a hilariously dark nightmare America.
Each episode is 1-2 minutes long, with new episodes dropping every Monday on our social channels. Want to follow? Just pick your poison!
